Process Engineer | Spring Lake, MI

Salary Range: $73,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related production issues and deviations.
• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Analyze process data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
• Ensure processes comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams on process enhancements and new product introductions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process optimization methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze process data, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
• Strong understanding of process control systems, instrumentation, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Power BI)
• Experience with MES, ERP, or advanced process simulation software
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
