Job Description

Practice

Western Trails Veterinary Hospital is the premier hospital if you live in Edgewood, Moriarty, Albuquerque, Tijeras, Sandia Park, Estancia, or the surrounding area and need a trusted veterinarian to care for your pet, small farm animals, or livestock.

In addition to the hospital and 3-stall barn, we have a full-service mobile unit for house/farm calls.

Position Purpose

Western Trails Veterinary Hospital is a mixed animal, general practice in Edgewood, NM, just a short drive from Albuquerque!

We are currently seeking a dedicated associate veterinarian to join our three-doctor practice. Our clinic is in a bustling community and provides exceptional veterinary care for small and large animals, including exotics. We are seeking a talented individual who is passionate about animal health, enthusiastic about client communication, and ready to contribute to the continued success of our practice. A confident support team assists our doctors with two full-time RVTs and many assistants. Our clinic has state-of-the-art medical equipment, including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory testing.

We invite DVMs of all experience levels to apply! We offer mentorship for new graduates and leadership training to help you achieve your career goals. The majority of our patient load is small animal dogs and cats - so a passion for seeing dogs and cats are a plus! A DVM willing to see exotics or who wants to help us grow our equine client would be especially welcome. If you are a compassionate, skilled, and enthusiastic veterinarian looking to join a dynamic and growing mixed animal practice, please apply. We look forward to hearing from you!
