• Start Date: January 12, 2026\n
• End Date: April 13, 2026\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Shift: Night shift; 4x10-hour shifts/week (23:00 - 07:30)\n
• Weekend Requirements: 1-2 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule\n
• Hours per Week: 40\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2040-$2090\n
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics\n
• Unit Size: 20 beds; daily census 30-50\n
• Self-scheduling available \n

\n\nPACU RN Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU or critical care RN experience\n
• Active Registered Nurse license (compact or Ohio state license required)\n
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program\n
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required\n
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred\n
• Proficiency with telemetry, ventilators, and electronic charting systems\n
• Ability to provide two professional references (one from a manager/director or supervisor)\n
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)\n

\n\nPACU Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate post-anesthesia care in a Level 1 Trauma PACU setting\n
• Monitor and assess patient recovery, including vital signs, pain management, and consciousness levels\n
• Administer medications, blood products, and manage IV and central lines\n
• Utilize advanced nursing skills: telemetry, ventilator management, dysrhythmia recognition, and care of ventilated patients\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, pharmacy, and rapid response\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic charting systems\n
• Participate in self-scheduling and adhere to weekend and holiday coverage requirements\n
