Overview:

Our client is a rapidly growing fashion and lifestyle brand with retails locations across the country. This newly created role will get involved with all aspects of the month-end close process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full involvement in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Maintain and reconcile inventory balances, including COGS, shrink, and inventory valuation adjustments
• Use NetSuite ERP to manage core accounting functions such as AP/AR, GL, and financial reporting
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and merchandising teams to ensure accurate inventory reporting and cost tracking
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and key performance indicators
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards (GAAP)
• Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability of accounting operations

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a retail or CPG environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP is a big PLUS
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, including physical counts, costing, and reconciliation
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, index/match, lookups, macros); experience with Power Query and Power BI preferred
