Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Wedowee, AL is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support students across all grade levels during the current school year (CSY). This contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid CCC certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience in a school setting supporting K-12 students.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage caseload efficiently and prioritize student needs.
• Familiarity with school systems and educational regulations governing speech therapy.
