Overview Andy Frain Services is hiring Off Duty (or retired) Police Officers to work at Chicago Dogs baseball games at Impact Field in Rosemont, Illinois. This is a great part-time or secondary job where you create your own schedule based on your availability. Responsibilities Be on time and report to post in full uniform. Deliver quality service and maintain professional presentation; greet visitors, vendors, and employees while upholding standards of excellence in presentation and professionalism. Maintain knowledge of emergency policies, procedures, and regulations; respond to emergencies, notify authorities, and assist as needed. Post duties may include wanding, metal detectors, bag searches, pat downs, or other tasks as needed. Remain diligent and vigilant in safety awareness. Know and understand post orders, revisions, and daily event needs; know the chain of command. Responsibilities are not limited to listed items and may be expanded at the client’s request. Minimum Qualifications Must currently be working as a police officer, corrections officer, or a retired police officer with arrest powers in the State of Illinois. 21 years of age or older High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED) Skills And Abilities Off Duty Police Officer is honest, alert, and well-disciplined as a custodian of employee and customer property and safety. Strong customer service skills; align with the mission statement: “Customer Service is Every Employee’s Job.” Ability to facilitate progressive change, follow directions, work as part of a team, and get along with other employees. Work with a sense of urgency. Clear and effective oral and written communication skills. Physical Requirements Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly to communicate with employees and/or customers. Push/pull/carry/lifting up to 50 lbs. Normal vision or corrected by glasses and/or contacts for reading and viewing. Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, climb stairs, and walk as required to perform duties.
