Overview MIAMI, FL - FULL-TIME FAMILY ASSISTANT / NANNY / HOUSE MANAGER - An incredible family near Coral Gables is seeking an exceptional, intelligent, athletic, and resourceful Family Assistant/Nanny/House Manager to support their dynamic household. The family has three girls: a 14-year-old and 12-year-old twins (twins are homeschooled and play competitive tennis at an academy about an hour away). The role requires driving the girls locally and to Davie, FL, for tennis (a pristine driving record is a must!). While Mom typically does the driving, she needs someone reliable who can step in when needed. Flexibility is key, as the schedule includes most Saturdays and some Sundays when parents are away, and there will be evening care a few times during the week. This is a multi-faceted role that involves wrangling the kids, taking them to doctor's appointments, running personal errands (dry cleaning, pharmacy, Target, racquet restringing, etc.), and acting as a liaison between the parents and household staff, including the housekeepers and chef. Responsibilities include managing household inventory, ensuring supplies like printer paper and ink are stocked, organizing and packing/unpacking for frequent trips, and keeping everything running smoothly. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable caring for two large, sweet dogs (a Labrador and a rescue), which includes feeding, taking them out at night, vet visits, grooming appointments, and coordinating with a dog walker. The position offers 6-day work weeks, though hours won't exceed 50 hours per week. If the family requires weekend availability, Monday will be given off. Flexibility for travel, including international trips, is essential (a valid passport is required). When the family travels, the assistant may need to manage household tasks such as meeting vendors, organizing cleaning or maintenance, and ensuring housekeepers stay on task. The family seeks a college graduate with top-notch organizational skills, responsibility, and a go-getter attitude. Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a health insurance stipend, 2 weeks PTO, paid holidays, and gas/mileage reimbursement or a car provided for longer drives.
