Position Details:

• Schedule: About 24 hours weekly, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (no weekends)
• Flexibility: Must be available to cover occasional days to support colleagues.
• Reliability: Dependable attendance is essential.
• Experience: Prior experience in a small office front desk role is required.

College students and individuals with Spanish-speaking applicants are encouraged to apply.

Job Description:

We seek a dedicated and reliable part-time Medical Receptionist or Medical Assistant to join our medical office. This role is vital for creating a smooth office experience and a welcoming atmosphere for our patients.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Knowledge of eClinicalWorks is a plus.
• Patient Interaction: The ability to check in/out patients, update medications, multitask, and provide general front desk support is essential.
• Medical Skills (for Medical Assistants): Ability to give vaccines, perform EKGs, and perform phlebotomy (preferred).
• Technical Skills: Computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems are essential.
• Front Desk Skills: Comfortable answering phones, taking co-payments, and scheduling appointments.
• Preferred: Medical Assistant background is a plus but not mandatory .
