About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Government Relations to lead and manage its local, state, and federal advocacy efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with various governmental entities, acting as the chief liaison to legislators and government officials, and directing a comprehensive program to create awareness and support for the institution's programs and initiatives. The role requires a detailed knowledge of the organization, functions, and processes of the relevant government bodies, as well as strong interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a legislative or higher education office, with a preference for those holding a Master's degree in a related field.
