PEP is seeking an **Event Planner** to support the Air Force Strategic Development Planning and Experimentation Directorate located on Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

>

> * Coordinate activities of staff, convention personnel, or clients to make arrangements for group meeting, events, workshops or conventions

>

> * Coordinate with other relevant organizations as identified by AFRL/RS on event process, planning and execution

>

> * Develop documents to engage industry and other stakeholders for inputs to plan engagaements

>

> * Develop schedule for briefings and ensure timeliness of event

>

> * Coordinate and correlate briefing materials for engagement events

>

> * Attend and act as AFRL/RS lead for planning meetings

>

> * Develop method to gather feedback from SMEs and industry

>

> * Conduct briefing material overview/edit and submit to AFRL Public Affairs Office (as needed)

**Requirements**

**Qualifications (Education, Experience, KSAs)**

>

> * **Bachelors degree and/or 5 years** or more of paid experience planning event and conferences

>

> * **Ability to attain a Secret clearance**

> * **Must have prior experience with U.S. Government experience**

> * **Experience with AFRL, Air Force preferred.**

>

> * Experience planning and managing logistics for events from small meetings to large scale events with 200+ attendees

>

> * Ability to anticipate project needs, prioritize work, meet deadlines without supervision.

>

> * Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments.

>

> * Possess scheduling, budgeting, organizational and logistic skills.

>

> * Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

>

> * Ability to develop point papers, briefing materials, and to make oral presentation of these materials to all levels of management, if necessary

>

> * Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook and Power Point

>

> * Ability to work on-site at Wright Patterson Air Force Base

>

>

>
