Overview Are you a natural leader with a passion for managing operations like your own business? We are seeking a City Manager to oversee the operations, financial performance, and customer satisfaction of parking facilities in a designated city or region. The City Manager will supervise staff, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure client and company standards are met, while reporting to the Directors and Vice President of Operations. This role includes oversight of facility maintenance, revenue management, and compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Hire, train, supervise, and discipline employees to ensure a professional and effective workforce. Operational Oversight: Conduct facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of all parking equipment and structures. Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with landlords, clients, and city officials to ensure obligations are met and concerns are promptly addressed. Revenue Management: Manage revenue collection, budgeting, and expense control to maximize profitability. Business Development: Negotiate new leases, lease renewals, and identify growth opportunities within the region. Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and all applicable local, provincial, and federal regulations. Facility Presentation: Maintain parking locations, ensure clear signage, functional equipment, and compliance with parking rates and tax regulations. Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and monthly permit processing, ensuring a positive parking experience. Reporting: Submit accurate and timely reports, including labor budgets, financial statements, and maintenance documentation. Work Schedule This is an exempt position without fixed hours; however, the expectation is to work during normal business hours, with occasional weekend or after-hours work as needed. What You Need to Succeed Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills. Ability to manage operations as if running your own business. Experience in team management, financial accountability, and customer relations. High standards of honesty, professionalism, and presentation. Qualifications Associate's degree preferred and a minimum of two (2) years of related managerial experience and/or training, OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of general business practices, including accounting, human resources, and customer service. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel locally Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Salary We maintain broad salary ranges for our roles in order to account for variations in experience, training skills, geographic location, and market conditions, as well as to reflect our differing products and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting.
