Compensation: Up to $150K DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed

Butler/House Manager to oversee all aspects of household operations-with a
strong focus on maintaining an impeccably clean, organized, and guest-ready environment at all times . The principal is in residence approximately
25% of the year , and this is a
solo position -you will be the
entire household team , responsible for ensuring the home remains fully maintained and ready for immediate occupancy, even during extended periods of absence.
This role demands someone who is equally comfortable managing fine dining service and hospitality logistics as they are rolling up their sleeves to scrub, organize, and polish. From daily cleaning and deep-detail upkeep to wardrobe care, tech troubleshooting, and vendor coordination, the successful candidate will take full ownership of the residence with pride, professionalism, and precision.

Key Responsibilities - Maintain the overall cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the home to luxury hotel standards
- Execute deep cleaning routines and ensure the ongoing care of fine finishes, antiques, artwork, and specialty materials
- Provide formal table settings and multi-course dining service, including wine service and event support
- Partner closely with the chef and estate manager to ensure a seamless hospitality experience when in residence
- Manage laundry and wardrobe care, including ironing, steaming, pressing, and organization of garments, linens, and bedding
- Oversee smart home systems (lighting, climate, AV, security), and troubleshoot tech issues as needed
- Provide support for special events, dinner parties, and guest stays-ensuring every detail is handled with precision
- Prepare light meals and beverages such as coffee, salads, or smoothies as requested
- Drive the principal to and from appointments, airports, or restaurants occasionally
- Pack/unpack luggage and assist with travel preparations
- Perform light maintenance tasks and coordinate with vendors for repairs or specialized services
- Maintain household inventories and supplies, ensuring everything is fully stocked and organized
- Manage indoor and outdoor plant care
- Travel occasionally (up to 5%) to support other residences (Los Angeles, Italy)
Qualifications & Attributes - Experience in a private service or luxury hospitality role such as Butler, House Manager, or similar
- Expertise in formal service and fine dining etiquette, including wine pairing and multi-course presentation
- Exceptional attention to detail, cleanliness, and discretion
- Technologically proficient and comfortable with smart home systems
- Fluent in English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and support events as needed
- Highly organized, polished, and proactive
- Able to work independently and self-manage in a residence with minimal day-to-day supervision
